Description

You’ve been thinking about taking a photography workshop …but what should you expect? Do you have to hike a million miles and be built like Lance Armstrong in order to attend? Will you actually have fun – or will it bring back bad memories from Mrs. Crenshaw’s 12th grade calculus lectures? In short – what really happens out there in the field?

We can’t create an eBook that offers the full workshop experience – if a picture is worth a thousand words, then an experience is worth too many to count. Instead, we’ve gathered a collection of great photos from our students – and some of our own shots, too – and we’ve put together an overview of our 2010 Southwest Workshop. Of course, each instructor has a unique style, and each location provides different challenges… but this little eBook offers a peek into the world of photography workshops.

Many thanks to our students for contributing images for this eBook. We couldn’t have done it without you guys – and we feel honored to have been a part of your learning process.

This eBook includes images from some of the students who attended our 2010 workshop: Shawn Vogt, Robert Biedeman, Neal Yu, Frank Damon, Aaron Burdick, Radu Iacob, Cristina Iacob.

I could start off like this – “Seeds of Jay Patel’s appreciation for beautiful places were planted early in his childhood….” but it would get boring really fast. I will just sum it up and say that I am a Landscape and Wilderness Photographer who loves to capture dramatic light. My photographs have been published in various magazines, calendars and advertising materials throughout the world.
