Description

Iceland is a deceptively-named country. The weather is generally mild, and the dominant color is fresh green for most of the year. With a population of only about 300,000 and a land mass the size of the US state of Kentucky, Iceland offers plenty of opportunities to explore completely undisturbed landscapes.

This photography ebook showcases some of the images from a group of seven photographers who visited the southern region of Iceland in the Autumn of 2011: Glade Gauger, Jay Patel, Neal Yu, Paul Marcellini, Robert Beidman, Shawn Vogt, and Varina Patel. It describes…in their own words…their thought process and workflow as they explored these breathtaking locations. Enjoy the journey!

I could start off like this – “Seeds of Jay Patel’s appreciation for beautiful places were planted early in his childhood….” but it would get boring really fast. I will just sum it up and say that I am a Landscape and Wilderness Photographer who loves to capture dramatic light. My photographs have been published in various magazines, calendars and advertising materials throughout the world.
